About the Tool
GALL-PAL is a free web tool that predicts the probability of pain alleviation after laparoscopic cholecystectomy for symptomatic, uncomplicated gallstone disease. It is based on a prospectively developed and temporally validated prediction model, implemented using the R Shiny framework. The model is exploratory and requires external validation before use in clinical situations can be recommended.
